What we did during the 2010-11 school year:
We held another coat drive this year.  Many parents and patrons donated winter coats.  EFK  distributed them to kids that needed them. 

We sold "Red Flashing Lights" that were great for safety on  dark mornings walking or riding bikes to school so kids are noticed, they were also great for Halloween safety and, because they are RED, one of our school colors, they might be fun at games to show our spirit!  We still have some available. 

We hosted a Family Reading Night Out where  families came to the school to read together and enjoyed fresh cookies and milk.  It was from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, at the school.  This was a very successful event and we hope to have it again next school year.  



What we did in the 2009-2010 school year:
Coat Drive and Give away, Provided  "brain food" snacks for students during state assessments, Teacher Appreciation gifts for Christmas, helped with Fall and Spring Picture Days, Books for Library, manage Campbell's soup labels,  manage White's Foodliner Cash Register Receipts for Education program, Teacher Appreciation Week activities, Organized letter writing campaign urging State Legislators and Senators to Fund Public Education.

Our next meeting for Eagles for Kingman is scheduled for Tuesday, March 13 , 2012.  Time will be 6:00 p.m. at Kingman Elementary School in the Library.
